On behalf of our client, a highly reputable investment fund services firm with over 30 years of industry experience, we are seeking a qualified Fund Accountant to join their expanding team. This firm is currently experiencing a strong period of growth, driven by increasing demand for their specialist services across real assets, venture capital, and private equity.

The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and technically strong Fund Accountant to take on a leadership position, managing a team of junior fund administrators and playing a key role in delivering high-quality fund accounting services to a prestigious client base.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of junior fund administrators, ensuring high standards of performance and development.
- Oversee the preparation and review of NAVs, investor reporting, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal controls across fund structures.
- Act as a liaison with auditors, custodians, depositaries, and other third-party providers.
- Support the onboarding of new funds and clients, including system and process implementation.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide technical accounting support and resolve complex fund accounting issues.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and client relationship management.
Candidate Profile Essential Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- 3–5 years of experience in a fund administration house or similar financial services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of fund structures, particularly in real assets, venture capital, and private equity.
- Proven experience in managing or mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Big 4 accountancy training or background.
- Familiarity with AIFM and depositary services.
- Experience with fund accounting systems and platforms.
