Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant
Location: Reading
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

An established and growing environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant looking to take the next step in their career, working on a wide range of projects across the UK.

The Role:
You will play a key role in delivering geoenvironmental projects from initial site assessment through to remediation and validation. The position offers a mix of technical delivery, project management, and client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and delivering Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations
Interpreting environmental and geotechnical data and preparing technical reports
Designing and overseeing remediation strategies
Liaising with clients, regulators, and subcontractors
Mentoring junior team members
Supporting business development and project bidding where requiredRequirements:

Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
Proven experience in a geoenvironmental consultancy role
Strong report writing and project management skills
Good understanding of UK contaminated land legislation and guidance
Experience supervising site investigations
