Salary: up to £58,000 p/a (DOE)

Summary:

Verelogic are currently looking for an experienced Service Contracts Manager to work for our client within the O&M business, focusing on the day-to-day management of projects. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual looking for the next step in their career.

You will be responsible for the further development and implementation of our client's contractor strategy, building on what is already strong and competitive supply chain, as well as delivering the scopes of projects to time, quality, and cost.

Reporting to the O&M Senior Engineering Manager (Engineering team) and working closely with the O&M Director, you will:

Be accountable for managing the delivery of services within the contract frameworks which covers both reactive and proactive Solar PV asset management.

Oversee larger projects and coordinate contractors on smaller ones, to deliver in a safe, timely and profitable manner.
Drive project investment through Additional Works (AW), relating to the O&M services the company provides the client, such as (but not limited to): Mechanical and electromechanical, Site performance improvement, Civil and Punch list works.
Take pride in improving the performance of the assets through building collaborative and effective relationships with the regional teams and other key stakeholders across Asset Services. The role will be UK based and will require some travel to sites within the UK and potentially Europe.
Duties and Responsibilities

Work closely with the regional teams, HSE, Engineering, HV, Monitoring and planning to deliver project outputs.
Be an integral part of a broader team, establishing business cases for investment and providing comprehensive scopes and quotes for work packages.
Be responsible for the delivery and ownership of additional services in line with the base contracts.
Be familiar with O&M contracts, and able to produce, review and validate detailed estimates and quotations to tenders and requests.
Review RAMS and CPP in conjunction with HSE.
Ensure accurate contractual details are recorded, maintained, and communicated.
Ensure the contractual service level agreements (SLAs) are being adhered to.
Ensure that all aspects of the client onboarding/FAC process across all teams are completed in a thorough, professional, and timely manner.
Enforce company policies to strengthen client relationships and deliver to the client's requirements with detailed/comprehensive reports on the back of works completion.
Develop and implement procedures for ongoing client and contract management / administration.
Monitor contractual compliance by the client and O&M.
Knowledge & Experience

Qualified Electrical or Mechanical engineer and project manager.
Over 5 years of experience in industrial Solar; large-scale PV plants.
Degree or professional qualification, preferably in a relevant engineering discipline.
Knowledge of managing operational contracts and building strong relationships with clients is essential.
Extensive experience of contract development and service delivery management.
Expertise in the development and management of contractual frameworks, contract negotiation and drafting.
Experience in the management of EPC/O&M and other contractors for solar projects as well as contract management.
Expertise in contracts, commercials, relationship management, invoicing, and payment authorisation.
Ideally have a working knowledge of technical, operational, and commercial aspects and documentation related to distributed generation, preferably solar.
Strong sound knowledge of HS&E and CDM Regulations.
Able to effectively work under pressure, to tight deadlines, on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communicator at all levels, particularly when translating technical information, for non-technical teams.
Extensive experience of contract development and service delivery management.
Able to critically examine and question information from a variety of sources.
High commercial and numerical acumen.
Work Skills

Efficient in both verbal and written communication and possesses interpersonal skills to manage relationships at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
Organised, proficient in common computer applications and able to manage your workload and others where required.
Excellent client facing and people management skills, together with the ability to manage contract budgets.
Strong collaboration skills.
Experience/ Qualifications Required

Degree or professional qualification preferably in relevant engineering discipline. ( Electrical Engineering would advantageous).
Experience in managing supply chains and working closely with contractors.
Qualified Project manager (PMP or equivalent).
CSCS Back card, IOSH [management safety] and SMSTS qualified.
Experienced with HSE and CDM 2015 procedures.
Clean UK valid driving licence
