Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Requirements: Own tools required | Full UK Driving Licence essential

Eleven Eleven Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Small Tool & Plant Fitter.

About the Role
Are you a skilled Plant Fitter, Car Mechanic, or Engineer with a passion for hands-on work? Do you enjoy diagnosing faults, repairing machinery, and ensuring equipment runs at its best? If so, our client wants to hear from you!

As a Small Tool & Plant Fitter, you'll be an integral part of our close-knit team, working in a modern, purpose-built workshop. Your role will involve maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, ensuring everything is in top working condition.

Equipment You'll Work On
• Disc Cutters & Generators
• Excavators, Dumpers & Skid Steers
• Lifting & Hydraulic Equipment
• Hand Tools, Battery Tools & Water Pumps
• Site Cabins & Compaction Equipment
No two days are the same! You'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, diagnosing faults, and conducting pre-delivery inspections across a wide range of plant and tools.

Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Carry out routine servicing and pre-delivery inspections
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work meets manufacturer standards
• Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures

What our client is looking for
• Mechanical Expertise - Experience with small plant, vehicles, or machinery
• Technical Knowledge - Understanding of 2 & 4 stroke engines, hydraulics, and electrics
• Attention to Detail - Accurate record-keeping and adherence to manufacturer guidelines
• Team Player - Works efficiently in a busy workshop while supporting colleagues
• Self-Motivated - Ability to diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively
