Badenoch + Clark have been approached by a leading employer in Oxfordshire to assist them in appointing an experienced Payroller on a 3 month contract.
You will be responsible for running the monthly payroll (circa 250); carry out bank reconciliations and to process BACS payments.
Other areas of responsibility include:
Liaising with HR colleagues to understand month-on-month changes and updates required to payroll.
Collating and entering information into the payroll system, including salary, bonuses, commission, overtime, on-call, maternity/paternity, SSP and attachment orders, ensuring that data is entered accurately.
Production of monthly payroll gross to net report and variance analysis for management approval.
Completion of monthly HMRC Employer Payment Summary (EPS).
Completion of monthly pension reporting.
Production and distribution of Auto-Enrolment letters to new starters.
Resolving staff queries relating to payroll and pensions.
Reconciliation of all group bank accounts on a daily basis.
Making all overseas and UK manual payments, including posting and allocation to Sage purchase ledger.
Posting the monthly payroll journal to the Sage finance system.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' payroll experience, coupled with excellent communication skills, available at short notice and knowledge of of SDWorx payroll and Sage 200 financials would be desirable.
