Our client is a growing drinks manufacturer, due to internal promotion we are seeking to recruit a Senior Maintenance Engineer at their production plant in Ballymena

This is the perfect role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer or someone with Supervisory experience who would like to push their career forward, working in a very clean factory setting with real potential for career progression

You'll be working on shifts 4 on 4 off, acting as the senior contact for engineering while on shift

The company are undergoing impressive growth with further investment in new production lines to increase capacity, giving you the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects, working with high speed automated equipment.

Negotiable salary in the £40 - 46k range with potential to increase within 12 months and strong potential for career progression

The Role

Preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment, across mechanical & electrical systems
Oversee and support two other maintenance engineers on shift, organising daily priorities, planning and resolving technical issues
Actively support engineering improvements and any key projects
Act as the senior point of contact for engineering while on shift
Help develop, mentor and coach apprentices
Lead the team while on shift with key works, troubleshooting, urgent breakdowns etc
Work with production colleagues effectively and encourage a positive team environment
Complete and record maintenance logs accurately
Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are followed, lead by example

What we are looking for

Level 3 or above in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic
Proven maintenance experience in high volume production or manufacturing
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in modern production
Knowledge of PLC's and automated machinery
Can demonstrate ability or experience in Supervising people
Confident communicator with great organisation skills
