We are seeking an experienced Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join our South Advice and Guidance Service. This role is vital in ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time.

• Dedicated consultant - one consistent point of contact
• Access to our online e-learning portal to keep your CPD and training up to date
• Two payroll runs each week
• Weekly job updates so you can stay informed about local locum posts
• Refer a friend or colleague and earn up to £300 (ts & cs apply)

Responsibilities

• Screening all incoming contacts, applying strong analytical and safeguarding skills
• Ensuring robust decision-making that leads to timely and appropriate interventions
• Supporting staff members, including offering guidance to less experienced colleagues
• Dip sampling and quality assurance to maintain high practice standards
• Participating in multi-agency review meetings
• Providing professional advice during drop-in sessions

• BSc Social Work or equivalent
• SWE registration
• Strong safeguarding knowledge
• Confident in screening, risk analysis, and threshold decision-making
• Ability to mentor and support others
• Skilled in quality assurance and reflective practice
