VACANCY: Test Lab Team Leader

This is a key role within our manufacturing operations, responsible for leading a team of Test Lab Technicians and overseeing the day-to-day running of the test lab. You'll ensure that all testing is carried out efficiently, accurately, and in line with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conduct and supervise testing of plastic piping systems, including hydrostatic, tensile, and material analysis.

* Lead and coordinate the lab team to meet production and customer deadlines.

* Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 29001, and internal quality systems.

* Manage lab resources, equipment, and consumables to support production needs.

* Ensure the lab is always audit-ready and operates to high standards of safety and housekeeping.

* Analyse test data, report results, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial testing environment.

* Strong understanding of polyethylene products and jointing techniques.

* Supervisory or team leadership experience in a technical setting.

* Familiarity with industry standards and test methods.

* Qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely, EUSR Electrofusion and Butt Fusion Welding, or equivalent are desirable.

* A practical, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to quality and safety.

HOURS OF WORK

8.15am - 4.45pm, Monday - Friday inclusive
