Forklift Loader (Temp - Perm)

Location: Tilbury, EssexPay Rate: £13.25 per hourContract Type: Temporary - Permanent  

Job Purpose:

We are seeking experienced FLT drivers to join our clients warehouse team in Tilbury on a temp - perm basis. This role involves key warehouse operations including loading, goods-in, and preparing pallets for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load and unload goods
• Manage goods-in processes, including checking and recording deliveries
• Banding and wrapping pallets to company standards
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules
• Work collaboratively with warehouse colleagues and supervisors

Requirements:

• Valid and in-date FLT licence 
• Proven experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role
• Good understanding of warehouse safety and manual handling practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Desirable:

• Experience with banding and wrapping pallets
• Familiarity with goods-in procedures and stock control systems
