Join a leading not-for-profit organisation with a significant impact across the UK. We are looking for a Communications Manager to lead the development of communications strategies and integrated marketing campaigns, raising the profile and delivering a bespoke brand identity to reach target audiences and promote the organisation’s work.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic communications plans and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and mentor a junior communications professional and oversee the “in-house agency” project management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure coherent messaging and brand consistency.
  • Plan and execute high-impact communication campaigns that effectively promote the organisation’s initiatives.
  • Oversee the production of promotional materials and content, ensuring quality and alignment with brand identity.
  • Manage relationships with external media outlets to maximise coverage and impact.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communications strategies, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Uphold the organisation’s reputation and brand identity across all communication channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a strategic communications role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience in team management or mentoring, with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective strategic communications plans.
  • Experience in working with external media outlets and building productive relationships.
  • A strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to execute high-impact campaigns.
