Passionate SEN Teaching Assistants Wanted for September 

Location: Brent and Wembley area

Daily Rate: £94

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with The Rise Partnership Trust, a group of four outstanding SEN schools across the Brent and Wembley area. We’re supporting them in their search for passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their schools on a flexible, supply basis.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a wide range of learning needs – helping them build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their personal goals. Whether it’s assisting in the classroom or working one-to-one, your support can truly change lives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Helping teachers deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Supporting children with varying special educational needs.
• Contributing to learning activities, behaviour support plans, and pastoral care.
• Assisting with classroom admin, record-keeping, and liaising with external professionals.
• Participating in ongoing training to support your growth and development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with SEN pupils in a school or care setting is essential.
• Confident using classroom tech (e.g., laptops, photocopiers, visual aids).
• Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and health and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, patient, and adaptable – able to meet the individual needs of pupils.
• A First Aid certificate is a plus, but not required.

Essential Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
• Two professional references covering the last 24 months.
