Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading consultancy with their search for a Principal Acoustic Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role within a dynamic and growing team.

Our client is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Principal Acoustic Consultant who will:

• Lead and deliver a wide range of environmental and infrastructure acoustic assessments.

• Provide high-level technical advice and strategic input to clients and stakeholders.

• Manage projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring quality and compliance.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, supporting new business opportunities.

• Mentor and support junior team members, helping to develop future talent.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A degree in acoustics, engineering, physics or a related discipline (IOA Diploma desirable).

• Chartered status (or working towards) with the IOA, CEng, or equivalent.

• Extensive experience in environmental acoustics and infrastructure consultancy.

• Strong knowledge of relevant standards, guidance and assessment methodologies.

• Proven track record in project management and client engagement.

• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
