Commercial Gas Engineer - Covering whole of the South East

Ideal candidate location: London or near M25 / Oxford / Hertfordshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading building services provider, working primarily across Oxford and the surrounding areas. The role will focus mainly on care home sites, with a mix of planned and reactive maintenance.

Duties:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial gas systems and appliances.
Fault-finding, repair, and servicing of boilers, heating systems, and associated plant.
Ensure compliance with all Gas Safe and health & safety regulations.
Work closely with colleagues and clients, representing the company in a professional manner.
Participate in a 1-in-5 call-out rota.

Requirements:

Commercial Gas qualifications (essential for experienced applicants).
Gas Safe registration.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong knowledge of commercial heating systems and fault-finding (for senior role).
Domestic Gas Engineers with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered for training.

Salary / Package:

£40,000 - £50,000 basic salary (depending on experience and qualifications).
40-hour week.
Travel time paid door-to-door.
1 in 5 call-out rota with standby and overtime opportunities.
Company van, fuel card, and all necessary tools and uniform provided.
Training and career development into commercial qualifications for domestic engineers.
