Axon Moore is thrilled to be working with a high-growth business in Liverpool as they recruit a Management Accountant to join their expanding team.

A brilliant opportunity for a proactive Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, scaling environment. You'll lead month-end reporting, drive cost control, and support the ongoing development of a strong, efficient finance function.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end month-end process
Produce management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, and KPIs.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and analyse variances
Partner with cost centre managers to maintain accurate costings and support budget adherence.
Provide clear, commercial insight to non-finance teams.
Support payroll preparation and reconciliations.
Assist with audit schedules and queries.
Prepare VAT and IOSS returns; manage FX transactions.
Identify and implement process improvements and reporting efficiencies.

The Candidate

Fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or equivalent.
Strong management accounting and reporting experience.
Advanced Excel and excellent IT capability.
Confident communicator able to influence non-finance stakeholders.
Proactive, solution-focused, and improvement-driven.
