Wellbeing Assistant - Wellington Wellbeing - Reading Reports To:            The General Manager at Wellington Wellbeing Hours:                    Permanent full-time position Wellington Wellbeing is an exciting new venture as part of the famous Wellington Estate, situated on the Hampshire/Berkshire border and home to the 9th Duke of Wellington. Opening in Spring 2020, Wellington Wellbeing is a bespoke, calm, nurturing and healing environment, created to restore balance, recharge and energise. This stunningly renovated barn is designed meticulously to the highest standard, and provides an unrivalled luxurious space for health, exercise, rejuvenation and self-care.  The Wellbeing Assistant is a front-line customer service position and plays a key role in exceeding the expectations of our members, whilst assisting in ensuring the smooth daily running of Wellington Wellbeing. Helping our members with whatever they need to make their experience with us exceptional on every visit, this is a varied role and will require a proactive and motivated person who is used to working within a team. Key responsibilities include: Dealing with enquiries from members and visitors; preparing and serving food and beverages; Showing new members and visitors around the facility; ensuring classes start on time and are presented in line with our standards and members’ expectations; Assisting members with treatments and follow up appointments as necessary. This is a business where everyone will be expected to work together to ensure that standards are at their highest, at all times. This means that teamwork is essential, and picking up on any task that needs attention, will be expected. It is essential that applicants have worked in a demanding customer facing environment, and have had customer service training. You will be empathetic and used to knowing how to stay a step ahead of customer needs. Communication skills will be outstanding (fluent spoken and written English are essential) and you will have excellent time management and administrative skills. Previous experience working in a private members’ health club would be advantageous, but not essential; airline or hospitality industry experience would also be considered. NB: This is a full-time position, but a job-share creating 2 part-time positions would also be considered. Applicants must have proof that they are able to work in the UK.
