Maintenance Manager

A global leader in heavy industrial manufacturing is seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Manager to lead the engineering function at one of its key UK sites.

This is a standout opportunity to take ownership of a well-established operation, managing a skilled team of 15-20 multi-disciplined engineers. With a strong capital investment plan already in place, you'll have the autonomy, resources, and support to shape the maintenance strategy and drive continuous improvement across the site.

The Role

As Maintenance Manager, you will:

Lead, develop, and motivate a team of engineers with varied skill sets

Take full ownership of the site's engineering and maintenance function

Drive performance against KPIs, ensuring targets are met and consistently exceeded

Champion a proactive maintenance culture, focusing on reliability and efficiency

Manage and deliver ongoing CAPEX projects, with a healthy budget already allocated

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across equipment and processes

About You

A strong people leader who can engage, inspire, and develop teams

Proven experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment

Results-driven, with a track record of delivering and exceeding KPIs

Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and accountability

Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership
