The Best Connection Enfield are currently recruiting for a Driver's Mate on behalf of our long-term client, based in Stansted (CM22). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team delivering high-quality kitchen products to customers across the region.
Shift & Pay Details:
Monday to Friday
04:00am or 06:00am start
12:00pm or 2:00pm finish
£13.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the driver with the safe and timely delivery of kitchen units, appliances, and worktops to customer's homes
Safely loading and unloading heavy kitchen components from vehicles
Carrying products into customer's properties with care and professionalism
Ensuring all items are handled correctly to prevent damage
Using safe manual handling techniques at all times
Conducting delivery checks and confirming paperwork is completed accurately
Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
Supporting with picking and packing kitchen supplies in the warehouse when required
Logging orders onto a computer system and printing packing sheets
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in a Driver's Mate or similar delivery role
Proven experience in safe manual handling of heavy and bulky goods (essential)
Strong teamwork skills
Positive attitude and professional manner
Basic IT skills for logging orders
Full training will be provided.
