HGV Technician

Location: Telford, TF3 area
Shifts: Alternating weekly day shifts
Salary: OTE up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience, shifts and qualifications)

The Opportunity

We are working with a respected commercial vehicle dealership in the Telford area who are looking to recruit a qualified HGV Technician. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive workshop team within a well-established business.

Working Hours

Week 1: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

*

Week 2: 12:00 pm - 9:30 pm

*

39-45 hours per week

*

Additional duties may be required in line with business needs

Key Responsibilities

*

Diagnose, service and repair a range of commercial vehicles

*

Carry out routine inspections and maintenance

*

Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults

*

Ensure all work meets manufacturer and DVSA standards

*

Work collaboratively with workshop and service colleagues

*

Maintain accurate records and comply with health and safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

*

Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

*

Previous experience with commercial vehicles (specific brand experience desirable but not essential)

*

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

*

Professional, proactive and team-focused approach

*

Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous)
