Veritas Education are currently working with a supportive high school in Leeds seeking multiple SEND Teaching Assistants to join their team for an immediate start. These are full-time positions, with the potential to move from temporary to permanent for the right candidates.

The Role:You will support students with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs). You'll provide one-to-one and small group support, assist with personalised learning plans, and help ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working with young people with SEND (school, care, or youth settings)

• Confident supporting behaviour and learning in a classroom environment

• Patient, resilient, and enthusiastic

• A current DBS on the update service, or willing to apply through Veritas

• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
