A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children with Autism within the classroom and through tailored interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism (ASD)
Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet the needs of children with SEN
Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, and parentsIdeal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children with Autism (in a school or other setting)
Understanding of strategies such as PECS, TEACCH, or Makaton is desirable
Calm, patient and nurturing approach to learning support
Able to build strong relationships with children, staff, and families
