GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a long-established and highly reputable UK manufacturer of precision-forged and machined components for the aerospace, defence, and other high-specification sectors. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to operate Heller CNC machines to produce high quality components to customer specifications.

This position is weekday NIGHTS Monday Thursday 20:00pm - 06:00am starting at £14p/h plus shift allowance but will increase to £16p/h after 4 weeks.

Please only apply of you can commit to the night shift.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of Heller 4 & 5 Axis CNC Machines for production.

Previous experience with CNC machine tools (Siemens, Fanuc or Mazatrol controls) are required to be considered.

CNC Machine Operator main duties:

* Competently operate 4 and 5 Axis Heller CNC machines.

* Experience of FASTEMS system is highly desirable.

* Load raw materials into CNC machines and monitor operations.

* Modification of tool offsets.

* Loading and unloading of CNC machine tools.

* Working to process with no deviation.

* Quality control, working to customer specification.

CNC Machine Operator main duties:

* Previous experience of Siemens, Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.

* Skilled in working to tight tolerances and in process measurements

* Performing quality inspections

* Ability to set up machines
