Overview

A growing, creative organisation within the events and production sector is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operative/Driver to support day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in high-quality standards, and thrives as part of a collaborative team.

You will support warehouse processes across cleaning, packing, stock handling, delivery/collection driving, and general workflow coordination. The role also includes opportunities to take on supervisory responsibilities and contribute to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise warehouse, cleaning, and packing teams when acting as duty lead.
  • Support daily task allocation and ensure workloads are completed accurately and on time.
  • Carry out deliveries and collections using the company van when required.
  • Oversee quality control during cleaning and packing processes to maintain premium standards.
  • Identify and assist in implementing improvements to streamline operations and reduce errors.
  • Support stock management duties, including involvement in stock takes.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new or temporary staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
  • Experience working within a warehouse, production, logistics, or other fast-paced operational setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues quickly.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach; comfortable with physical tasks such as stock handling, cleaning, and packing.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and confident taking responsibility when required.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and experience driving large vans (such as LWB).
  • Good knowledge of safe driving, loading, and unloading practices.
