Accounts Senior - Manchester

Salary: £45kLocation: Manchester/ hybrid

A long established, rapidly growing UK accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join its Manchester office.

The firm is recognised for its strong culture, award-winning workplace environment, and impressive growth.

• Prepare full Accounts files, including accounts production and associated corporation and personal tax returns, ready for senior review.
• Meet regularly with clients to discuss their financial records and provide insights.
• Finalise accounts files and reports following senior review to ensure readiness for client debriefs.
• Ensure Accounts and Tax Returns are completed and submitted in line with the firm's compliance and close-down procedures.
• Manage workflow and client deadlines to ensure timely completion of work within budget.
• Monitor fee recovery and propose fee adjustments where appropriate.
• Act as a primary point of contact for your clients, maintaining regular communication and high service standards.
• Develop a broad understanding of the firm's full service offering and identify opportunities for cross-selling.

• ACCA / ACA qualified
• Proven experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge
• Confident in preparing consolidated accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Experience mentoring or supervising team members.
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
• Strong communicator who can liaise effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
