CNC Miller Programmer/Operator

Location: Blackburn
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £20 ph + bonuses
Contract: Permanent

TeamJobs is working with a leading engineering and machining company who are expanding their CNC milling department. We're looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Operator with strong HAAS experience to join their modern, purpose-built facility in Blackburn.

What you'll be doing

Programming, setting and operating HAAS CNC milling machines

Producing medium-high batch components to tight tolerances

Selecting tooling, optimising cutting strategies and ensuring high production efficiency

Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

Working with a range of materials, including exotic alloys

Maintaining excellent quality and health & safety standards

What we're looking for

Time-served machinist with CNC milling experience

Confident programming on HAAS controls

Strong understanding of tooling, work holding and cutting strategies

Background in high-tolerance environments (automotive ideal)

A team player with great communication skills
