Management Accountant | £40,000 - £45,000 | Wigan + Hybrid | Industry-leading business | Fantastic Benefits + Flexibility Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering a high-growth business in Wigan as they look to recruit and experience and ambitious Management Accountant capable hitting the ground running in a fast-paced role taking ownership for fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the team, as well as the production of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, VAT returns and the direct line management of two assistants.Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Produce monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce and posting journals
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Variance analysis and reporting on key financial metrics
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting duties
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Training, mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
• Provide insightful financial analysis to aid strategic decision-making
• Contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives across the business
• Other ad-hoc duties and project work

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong management accounts experience (ideally 3+ years)
• Good IT and MS Excel skills (VLookups, Pivots as a minimum)
• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively
• Able to work collaboratively and independently
