Randstad is proud to be working in partnership with a respected education trust to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a specialist setting based in ST10, Staffordshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.

You will play a key part in supporting pupils with a range of needs, delivering tailored learning activities, and working collaboratively to promote positive outcomes for every child.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and delivering high-quality, individualised learning plans.

• Leading small group interventions and occasionally covering whole classes.

• Assisting with the development of EHCP targets and monitoring progress.

• Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

• Working closely with teachers, parents, carers, and external professionals.

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN, including SEMH and ASD.

• A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A solid understanding of safeguarding and behaviour support strategies.
