Based in Denton, they are a leading multi-channel supplier of kitchen components, including doors, cabinets, and accessories. With a strong reputation for quality and service, they supply to a wide range of customers including independent retailers, trade merchants, and national partners across the UK and Ireland.
The Role As a Kitchen Designer, you will join a centralised design hub, delivering remote kitchen design services to a diverse customer base. This includes retail clients, trade professionals, and end consumers. You’ll play a key role in supporting the sales process by creating tailored kitchen solutions that align with each customer’s brand and requirements.
You’ll be responsible for interpreting design briefs, producing detailed CAD drawings, and ensuring a seamless journey from concept to installation. This is a varied and rewarding role offering exposure to multiple customer channels and the opportunity to work with a wide range of kitchen styles and specifications.
Key Responsibilities - Engage with customers remotely and in the company’s showroom to understand their design needs.
- Create innovative kitchen designs using CAD software, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Manage projects from initial design through to installation.
- Handle enquiries from various sales channels.
- Conduct on-site kitchen surveys when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations.
- Stay informed on industry trends and design innovations.
Candidate Profile Essential:
- Proven experience in kitchen design using CAD software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Passion for interior design and awareness of current trends.
Desirable:
- Degree in Product or Interior Design (or equivalent).
- Experience with Articad software.
- Background in the KBB (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom) industry.
