We are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition & Development Manager to join the HR Team at Nationwide Platforms.

As the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager, you will lead our efforts in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. This role will be responsible for designing and executing recruitment strategies, enhancing employee development programs, and aligning talent initiatives with the organisation's goals and culture.

In return you will receive a Salary up to £65,000 DOE, Company Car or Cash Allowance of £8,750, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Auto Enrolment Pension scheme, BUPA Medical Care, Life Assurance & Lifestyle benefits - Discounts on selected high street stores.

Frequent travel is required so the ideal candidate must be located near the major motorway networks M4,M6,M40,M1

Responsibilities include:

Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract high-quality candidates across all levels.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through various channels for our most common and difficult to fill roles.
Collaborate with HR and department leaders to align talent strategies with business goals.
Design, implement, and evaluate training and development programs that support employee growth and organisational objectives.
Lead succession planning and career development strategies to retain top performers.
Develop and deliver an Employer Branding and Positioning strategy that drives candidate attraction and increases brand awareness.
Development of assessment and profiling tools and techniques at job family level.
Work with HR Business Partners to develop seamless onboarding and induction procedures that drive productivity metrics and reduce short service voluntary labour turnover.The ideal candidate will have/be:

Able to understand business performance and understand what is required to positively contribute to the overall success of the business, based on what will have the biggest impact to the P&L.
Able to anticipate future business requirements based on regional trends / internal dynamics.
Understands and has experience of developing and responding to the needs of manpower plans.  
Able to demonstrate effective use of network and contacts in order to deliver on business requirements.
Background in Sales and/or commercial business environment.
Strong tactical resourcing and recruitment experience, specifically within a blue-collar environment.
Able to become the 'face of NWP' to attract passive talent and as such you have a track record of successfully sourcing passive candidates from multiple channels.
Detailed knowledge of direct sourcing and attraction strategies.
