Solidworks Mechanical Design Engineer - Contract
Location- Knutsford (onsite)
Rate- Up to £50 per hour (Outside IR35)
Contract length- 3 months initially
Start date- Immediate start

A key client urgently needs a Solidworks Mechanical Design Engineer to support their busy R&D team. This is a fast-moving requirement, and if you're available to start next week, all the better.

What you'll be doing:

Mechanical design using Solidworks (own licence highly desirable)
Full product design - from concept through to manufacture
Sheet metal design and design calculations
Understanding motor specification requirements

What we're looking for:

Strong Solidworks skills (with your own licence ideally)
Proven experience in sheet metal and product design
Confident in design calculations and motor specification requirements
Able to work onsite in Knutsford
