Vivid's client in the North West is currently looking for an experienced Housing Triage Officer for a minimum of 6 months with the option to be extended for a further 6 months depending on experience.

The Housing Triage Officer will assess complex housing applications in line with the Housing Act legislation.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:

* Knowledge of the relevant legislation relating to homelessness and housing need, with particular knowledge of the Housing Act 1996 part VII and the Homeless Reduction Act 2017.

* Understanding the Allocations Policy

* Working experience in the assessment of more complex homeless applications for persons who present themselves

* Demonstrable experience of making recommendations and decisions under the relevant housing legislation.

* Able to work in a fast paced environment
