Live-Out Housekeeper - Notting Hill
ASAP Start
We are seeking an exceptional, experienced Live-Out Housekeeper for a private household in Notting Hill. This is a role for a switched-on, proactive go-getter who takes genuine pride in running a home seamlessly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within UHNW private households, ideally with a background in Royal households or super-yacht service. This is a hands-on role requiring strong initiative, excellent organisation, and the confidence to take full ownership of the household.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping for a 4-bedroom residence
- Daily cleaning and upkeep to a high standard
- Laundry and linen care, including bed changes
- Managing wardrobe basic and stocking of beauty products, and toiletries
- Checking fridge regularly: stocking essentials, removing out-of-date items
- Shopping: online grocery orders and local errands
- Running household errands (post office, dry cleaners, etc.)
- Basic cooking when required (primarily for children, following recipes)
- Assisting with packing and preparing suitcases for travel
- Flagging maintenance issues and repairs proactively
- Occasional dog walking, the family also have a cat
- Ensuring the household runs like clockwork at all times
Household Details
- Single principal with a teenage son and older daughter who is in and out of the residence
- Principals are away for approximately 6 weeks over summer, offering quieter periods
Candidate Requirements
- Highly organised and forward thinking
- Confident self starter
- Experience within high end homes and/or yachts
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and via WhatsApp/messaging
- Discreet, polished, and professional at all times
- Driver preferred but not essential
- Able to work with autonomy and take true ownership of the role
- Outstanding, verifiable references essential
Working Hours
- Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00am - 1:00pm (only when the family is in residence)
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 - £55,000 gross per annum + DOE
