The Opportunity

I'm working in partnership with a leading food manufacturing business that is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team. This role offers the chance to become an integral part of a well-established and supportive engineering department, contributing to ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking to move onto a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights). You'll play a vital role in ensuring the factory operates at peak performance, helping to maintain production targets and reduce downtime.

What You'll Need:

Recognised electrical and/or mechanical qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3).

Proven experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (ideally within the food industry).

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with a proactive approach to breakdowns.

Solid understanding of safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Ability to support and train production staff in first-line maintenance tasks.

Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
