Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Daventry, Northants

Job Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours

Salary: £25,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Inspector for our client in the automotive industry to ensure their products meet high quality standards. You will check materials, parts, and finished products, making sure they meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Quality Inspector Key Responsibilities

Measure parts using tools such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges
Carry out inspections and tests (including crack and weld checks)
Inspect incoming and outgoing goods
Record inspection results using systems (e.g. Safety Culture)
Support sample checks during production
Help update procedures (SOPs) and follow quality standards (ISO/IATF)
Report and help resolve quality issues
Use Factory Master to manage part approvals/rejections
Follow health, safety, and environmental rulesRequirements

Experience in a quality or manufacturing role
Understanding of measurement tools and techniques
Ability to read engineering drawings
Knowledge of quality systems (ISO standards)
Good attention to detail and organisation skillsAdditional Information
