Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN)? We are thrilled to be working with a leading educational institution in Darwen that is committed to providing exceptional education and care for students aged 10 - 19, including those with Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, and other conditions. Currently, we're seeking a talented SEN Teacher to join their passionate team.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to students with diverse needs, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they require to thrive academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering tailored lessons, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles, and collaborating with support staff to create inclusive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Work collaboratively with support staff and outside agencies to develop personalised learning plans.
Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates who hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a similar educational setting. You should possess a thorough understanding of SEN strategies and interventions, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for supporting the holistic development of students with SEN are essential.
