Senior Technician (Building Services): £45-60k (City of London)

I am currently working with a technical services client for Building Services who are actively looking to expand their team and take on a Senior Building Services Technician. My client are experts at removing risk and improving processes for the construction, engineering, architecture, and infrastructure sectors. This is achieved through the targeted application of innovative technology, skilled people and a wealth of experience.

Being in the Building Services industry they cover a wide range of projects including: high-end residential, healthcare, mix-use commercial, industrial and stadiums. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to expand their experience and delve into further senior responsibilities.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Building Services Technician:

Produce quality, detailed, coordinated AEC 3D models. 

Produce quality 2D sheet Production Outputs. 

Lead early design & constructibility analysis reviews. 

Lead coordination/review meetings (internally and externally). 

Assist Project/Delivery Manager in task completion.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

Have the desire, drive, and willingness to continuously develop and learn. 

Technical problem-solving abilities. 

Initiative in delivering to time/budget. 

A Team player. 

Essential: 

Strong experience in the Construction Industry. 

Know how to use EDMS systems. 

Know how to use software (Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, & AutoCAD). 

Have a good understanding of clash detection tests and model reviews using Navisworks. 

Have knowledge of the key spatial coordination rules of MEP services. 

Good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint). 

Knowledge of the RIBA Construction stages. 

Interpret Schematics and Schedules 

Desirable: 

Higher Qualifications relevant to the industry. 

GCSE Grade A-C (4+) in Math's and English. 

Know how to Implement BIM Technology to facilitate project needs. 

Skilled use of Solibri/Revizto. 

Use of Parametric and smart solutions for the betterment of project delivery
