The Company:

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Peterlee area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.

The Role:

* Load and operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.

* Change pre-set machine programmes as required.

* Use measuring tools such as verniers, tape measures, and micrometres to ensure accuracy and quality.

* Carry out basic checks and follow safe working procedures.

* Learn and develop towards CNC programming with full training provided.

The Person:

* Previous machine operating experience is beneficial but not essential — full training provided.

* Ability to read and use measuring equipment confidently.

* A good attitude and reliability to support a busy manufacturing team.

* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

* Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands-on tasks.

* Flexible and adaptable to shift work or changing priorities.
