Join Our Team as a SEND Teaching Assistant - Worksop Primary Schools

Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning? Do you have experience working with pupils who need a little extra support to reach their full potential?

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Worksop, and we're on the lookout for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to provide high-quality intervention support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Whether it's delivering structured literacy and numeracy sessions or providing tailored one-to-one support for children with special educational needs, your role will be to make a real, lasting difference every day.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience supporting children with SEND, particularly in primary settings

A confident approach to working with pupils with a variety of needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, MLD)

Availability for at least 3 days per week, during school hours

Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust with children who need stability and understanding

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting pupils through targeted intervention programmes

Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Monitoring pupil progress and adapting approaches where needed
