Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 per annum - dependign on experience
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:30
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run plant hire business in Norfolk.

They are now seeking a Hire Controller to join their friendly and knowledgeable team. This is a key position within a fast-paced and dynamic hire desk environment - perfect for someone who thrives on customer interaction and operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries (via phone, email, and in person)

*

Advising customers on appropriate hire solutions and taking hire/off-hire orders

*

Coordinating with internal teams to ensure equipment availability and scheduling

*

Managing logistics and transport planning for deliveries and collections

*

Updating and maintaining records in the internal CRM system

*

Maximising fleet utilisation and hire revenue

*

Delivering exceptional customer service at all times

What We're Looking For

*

A confident and positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure

*

Strong IT skills (training provided for in-house systems)

*

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential - attitude matters more than experience
