The Best Connection are currently seeking EXPERIENCED Class 2 Refuse Drivers for ongoing positions at a well known council based in the Mansfield area.

Assessment date Tuesday 31st March 2026

Duties of Class 2 Refuse Drivers:

• Operating HGV C Class 2 Refuse Truck
• Driving residential collection route
• Working with Banksmen and loaders to maintain safe standards

Working hours of Class 2 Refuse Drivers:

• Earliest start time 0530 - and latest finish time is 1600.
• Monday to Friday

Pay for Class 2 Refuse Drivers:

• £14.50 per hours basic, increasing to £29 Bank holiday
• Please note - you are paid for the hours worked each shift
• Busier periods will require you to work weekends/Bank Holidays however this will be paid at double time!! - please note this is a must!

Requirements for Class 2 Refuse Drivers :

• Min 1 year on similar vehicle to HGV C Refuse truck
• No more than 3 points on license
• Valid in date Driver Qualification Card
• Valid in date Digital Tachograph card
