Position Description:

  • Collaborate with Product Development, Mobility, and Information Technology architecture teams to align business vision to the technical solutions for connected vehicle features.
  • Lead feasibility assessments, and Proof of Concept's, with advanced engineering and research teams to bring connected vehicle concepts into production.
  • Team member responsible for developing technical requirements for vehicle, cloud, and mobile application systems.
  • The team will drive the integration of technical requirements into architecture specifications.
  • Member of cross functional team developing interoperability interfaces, and translating them into system level requirements for connected vehicle systems architecture.
  • Lead a team of architects and engineers to breakdown connected vehicle feature into manageable chunks of functional components, across Vehicle, Cloud and Mobile App sub-systems / components.
  • Develop, and support, feature roadmaps in collaboration with feature leads across various skill teams.
  • Collaborate with Company Security teams, In-Vehicle, Cloud and Cyber Security, to ensure solutions developed comply with Company Security Policies and Standards.


Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of experience with analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate through working teams across multiple departments.
  • Bachelor of Science Engineering (mechanical or electrical), Computer Science, Business administration, or Information Technology.
  • 1+ years of experience with vehicle architectures, CAN Bus/Automotive architecture, and interoperability of embedded components.


Skills Preferred:

  • Knowledge of core engineering fundamentals, interoperability standards, and emerging trends.
  • Awareness of communication security, channel authentication mechanisms, security protocols, user privacy and regulatory issue.
  • Experience identifying solutions that leverage existing systems and assets, with creative solution definition methodology and focus on end-to-end lifecycle of the product/feature.
  • Proven experience presenting technical artifacts to senior management.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Masters, or MBA accomplishment.
