Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a Plumbing Technician to join our Further Education (FE) team in Twickenham. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair services, and will be involved in preparing educational materials and setting up classrooms for practical sessions.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources for classroom activities.
• Support teachers during classroom sessions by setting up equipment and materials.
• Maintain and ensure all plumbing tools are in good working condition.
• Assist in the development of new teaching materials and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop and classroom.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience within plumbing industry.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to compliance with safety and building codes.
• Experience in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
