The Role

You will take the lead on a major Air Traffic Control (ATC) recovery and redesign programme, created in response to delivery challenges and a loss of stakeholder confidence.

Working closely with operational teams, technical specialists and senior leaders, you'll drive two core workstreams:

Stabilising the existing ATC system and ensuring it is safe, reliable and fully assured ahead of peak summer operations.

Redesign

Managing the structured delivery of a future-proofed, user-centred solution with improved resilience for long-term operational needs.

Your role is to bring governance, clarity, communication and confidence back into the programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day programme delivery across two complex workstreams
  • Rebuild stakeholder confidence and resolve delivery challenges
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risks and reporting
  • Act as the central liaison between data-driven operational teams and client-facing stakeholders
  • Oversee supplier delivery and performance against contractual and assurance requirements
  • Facilitate workshops, governance boards and decision-making sessions
  • Support testing, validation and transition activities into live operations
  • Ensure all documentation, governance and audit trails are accurate and up-to-date

You will prioritise high-impact activity and work efficiently within a part-time structure.
