Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Reviews Officer for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London.

In this role, you will independently review housing and homelessness decisions, ensuring they are fair, legally compliant, and deliver the best outcomes for residents.

Duties:

• Conduct independent reviews of housing and homelessness decisions.
• Liaise with legal teams, external partners, and service users.
• Represent the Council in appeals and manage temporary accommodation costs.
• Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to improve service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Experience reviewing housing or homelessness cases within a statutory framework.
• Experience managing complex cases involving multiple vulnerabilities and stakeholders.
• Experience liaising with legal teams, external partners, and service users.
• Experience providing clear, professional decisions and reports to support appeals or reviews.

What's on offer:

Salary: £36

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
