A well-regarded primary school in Bromley is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 6 students, ensuring all pupils are prepared for their next steps in education.

Assess and monitor pupil progress, using a range of assessment tools to provide feedback and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.

Create a supportive, well-managed classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour, engagement, and academic achievement.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching standards and provide additional support where necessary.

Foster strong communication with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and encouraging their involvement in school life.

Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum, with the ability to deliver lessons that inspire and challenge students.

Experience of using assessment data to track progress and inform planning to support pupil development.

Excellent classroom management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

A commitment to professional growth and a passion for supporting students in reaching their academic and personal goals.
