We're on the lookout for skilled Sheet Metal Workers to join a major long-term defence project - a multi-year opportunity where your craftsmanship will directly support the build of cutting-edge naval platforms.

This role is hands-on, high-impact work in a fast-paced shipbuilding environment. You'll be part of a collaborative and experienced team, shaping complex metal structures with precision and pride.

Location: Glasgow (Potential relocation package)

Salary: £38'622 + up to 33% shift allowance + Overtime rates

Shift patterns available: Mon-Thurs days or nights, 3 day compressed weekend Fri-Sun.

Responsibilities
Manufacturing and installing marine-grade ventilation, HVAC systems, and interior furnishings.

Install a variety of ventilation systems, including rectangular and spiral ducting
Fabricate and assemble bespoke metal furniture such as triple bunks, wardrobes, and metal desks
Read and interpret technical drawings to complete detailed metalwork installations
Work with a range of tools and materials to shape, cut, and fit metal components
Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and finish in all tasksWhat you'll bring:

Recognised Trade Papers / Modern Apprenticeship Certificate - essential.
Experience in large-scale marine, oil & gas, or industrial manufacturing.
Confidence working in confined spaces or at height when required.
A strong eye for detail and a pride in the quality of your work.
All applicants will need to have lived in UK for the past 3 years as a minimum and willing to undergo a Baseline Personal Security Screening (BPSS) to be considered for the role
