HYBRID WORKING, 1 x DAY PER WEEK IN LONDON**

We are recruiting for a GIS Data Technician on a contract to perm basis, work is hybrid with 1 x day per week in West London.

Role Overview:
The GIS Technician will work collaboratively within a design and build team to deliver GIS outputs across multiple projects. This is an involved role using QGIS, Python, and internal custom-built tools to work with large GIS datasets. The position offers excellent long-term career development opportunities.

Skills & Experience Required:

* 12+ months commercial GIS experience

* Degree in Geography or a GIS-related discipline

* Experience with ESRI ArcGIS and QGIS

* Entry-level Python knowledge

* Proficiency in GIS software for data capture and manipulation

* Strong attention to detail for high data accuracy

* Knowledge of spatial data formats and standards

* Understanding of geographic business intelligence

* Experience with Python (advantageous)

* Highly analytical with a “first-time right” approach

* Up to date with advances in the GIS community

* Ability to share knowledge and contribute ideas

* Excellent communication skills

* Motivated, team-oriented, and enthusiastic about challenges

* Strong desire to contribute to a unique product and user experience
