Civil Engineer

A great opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer to join a respected, forward thinking consultancy delivering major residential, commercial and mixed use developments across the UK. This role is perfect for an engineer looking to take the next step in their career while working on complex infrastructure schemes ranging from local improvements to large-scale, multi million pound projects.

As a Civil Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of adoptable highways, drainage networks and sustainable drainage systems, as well as earthworks and external works layouts. You will produce technical reports, statements and design documentation, using AutoCAD and MicroDrainage to ensure high quality outputs that meet regulatory and client requirements. You will work closely with senior engineers, clients and design teams, contributing to project delivery from concept through to detailed design.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with highways design to S38 and S278 standards.

Prepare adoptable drainage designs to S104 and S98 requirements.

Contribute to SuDS layouts, earthworks assessments and external works.

Produce technical reports, design statements and supporting documents.

Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies and multidisciplinary design teams.

Support the preparation of drawings using AutoCAD and MicroDrainage.

Develop your technical capability with support toward chartership.

About You

HND, HNC or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Experience in highways and drainage design within a UK consultancy.

Skilled in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage (InfoDrainage).

Strong communicator with a proactive approach to learning and development.

Keen to progress professionally with structured mentoring.
