About the role:
The Programme Manager is responsible for leading and delivering complex, large-scale cyber security software programmes across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role ensures that cyber capabilities, platforms, and services are delivered securely, on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational strategy and regulatory requirements.
The role combines deep programme leadership expertise with strong understanding of cyber security technologies, secure software development, and risk governance.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in programme or senior project management
- Experience delivering technology or cyber security projects
- Exposure to regulated or security-conscious environments
- Experience working across multiple technical teams
- Familiarity with cyber security tooling (IAM, SIEM, endpoint security, cloud security)
- Strong risk and issue management capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Structured, organised, and delivery-focused mindset
Desirable
- Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Recognised project/programme management certification (PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, APM)
- Agile certification (SAFe, PSMI, etc.)
- Experience supporting or coordinating bid and proposal activities, particularly in technology or cyber contexts
Responsibilities
- Act as senior escalation route into supplier leadership
- Managing end-to-end delivery of cyber and secure software programmes or major workstreams
- Build a trusted and reputable customer relationships that can be cultivated for opportunities and growth
- Coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Commercial and, Supply Chain
- Accountable for programme finances such as forecasting, CIP, EACs and ensuring these are accurately tracked and able to be reported on to drive business decisions
- Executing the entire programme lifecycle against Raytheon standards and policies
- Management of our partners involved on task through our supplier ecosystem
- Accountable for risk management including logging and mitigation planning
- Direct involvement in BID activities concerning programme such as co-ordination, reviews and BID response writing
