The Role - 1:1 Teaching Assistant
The role of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant is for a committed, nurturing and proactive individual to work with a pupil on a one-to-one basis within a PRU supporting students aged 5-11. You will be responsible for delivering tailored SEMH support, helping the student regulate emotions, manage behaviour and remain engaged in learning. The ideal candidate will be confident in de-escalation strategies, providing consistency, structure and encouragement throughout the school day. You will support the pupil both academically and behaviourally, ensuring they can access learning in a safe, calm environment.
