Nursery Room Leader – Full-Time

Are you a confident and passionate Early Years Practitioner looking to step into a leadership role? We’re recruiting a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a highly regarded nursery set within acres of beautiful land, offering an exceptional outdoor play environment that supports child-led exploration and development.

As Room Leader, you'll take ownership of a specific age group, leading your room team to deliver inspiring, high-quality care and education in line with EYFS standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience in a nursery setting with leadership responsibilities
• Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Sound knowledge of Ofsted standards and safeguarding practices
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and development

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead your designated room, ensuring daily activities support development and learning outcomes
• Plan, prepare, and deliver a broad range of creative and engaging age-appropriate activities
• Supervise and mentor your team to maintain a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment
• Monitor and support children’s progress through observations and developmental tracking
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider nursery team
• Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
